one last day

Hello, bloggy friends. Hope you are still enjoying the holidays. I can't believe this is the last day this year. It's gone by so fast.

I have one more Christmas decoration to show you.  A few weeks ago Silhouette had their Advent Calendar Kit on sale and hubby bought me one. I didn't use it as an Advent calendar, I just made some things to hang on it.  It's a nice way to decorate in a confined area for any occasion. I know I'm really going to enjoy this.

Take a look:

It comes with a download of about 20 designs - pockets, envelopes, little ornaments and boxes sized to fit. The frame comes with the wire strung and 35 little clips.

Thanks for dropping by today.

Just a little more Christmas...

Hi, everyone. Today is the last Christmas celebration for my grandson. We've had one every day since Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve - hubby's side of the family
Christmas Day - us
Thursday - spending some gift cards (just like another celebration)
Friday - his mom
Saturday - out of town cousins
Sunday - his mom's dad

Gabe loves getting presents but I think even he will be glad that it's over. Lots of running and fun but we're tired.

So, I just have a couple more posts left with Christmas themes.

These are some of the 3d ledge village cut files from the Silhouette online store.

Aren't they cute? I found the perfect little wreath cuts on another Sil cut file - the Putz house file.
(that's really the name of it)

This next one is 3 different files - the sleigh, packages and reindeer - take a look:

I have one more post tomorrow with a Christmas theme. Then I have a few B-day cards to make for January.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Christmas Day

This is one of my favorite Santa faces. It's actually a card from a kit  I bought from SVG cuts. I decided to frame it. I saved it for my Christmas Day post because it says it all.

Merry Christmas to all of you who venture by. I hope you all have a wonderful day with friends and family.

Wow - it's Christmas Eve

I know everyone's busy. No matter how you plan it gets really hectic, At least for me.

This will be short. I just have more Christmas décor to show you. This one is a wreath I hung on the bathroom door. Of course it's from the sil online store. I just love my Portrait.

Take a look:

Since this has Santa and his reindeer flying, I figured Christmas Eve would be a good time to post this.

Thanks for spending a little time here with me.

Dec. 23 - Oh my!

I can't believe it's the 23rd. What happened? I try to do what I can days before so I'm not falling over on Christmas Day, but it never works. I should have at least a week more. Wouldn't it be nice if all we had to do was cut things out and decorate? Heaven!

Not exactly the real world, is it? But we seem to make it through, don't we. I know I'll never be that organized and on top of things. (but I can dream, can't I?)

Anyway, today I thought I would post a few of my 3d projects.

What 'cha think?

Tic Tac and hand Santa-tizer covers

I just really liked the Santa and penguin
the tree is a Sil online store file too

Aren't they cute?

Niece's birthday card

Happy Sunday. I don't know about you but all my days seem to be running together. And I still have to go to the grocery store ONE MORE TIME! I can't tell you how times I've been for the "last" time.
I forgot green beans (one of the few vegies everyone eats) and I have no dessert. Oh well I never claimed to be perfect.

Today I have a birthday card for one of my niece's.  Her b-day was yesterday. She was a great Christmas present 30 something years ago.

Take a look:

This card is a silhouette card and I used more of the glitzy DCWV cardstock.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Noel banner

I, all. It's Saturday, the 21st of December. I can't believe it. In my mind it's 3 weeks till Christmas. What happened?  Will I ever catch up?

Oh well, I might as well roll with it. Today I thought I'd show you my banner. This is not the one I wanted to make.  I loved the one on the box of the Home For the Holidays Cricut cartridge. But it didn't work out. When I pulled it up on my E2, you couldn't separate each individual  cut. All 4 cut at the same time at about 4 inches. Couldn't go any bigger. So I found this one in the Silhouette store.

It came out OK. I added the icicles and the snow flakes so it wouldn't be so plain. I was short on time so  didn't want to start over.

Take a look:  (all of a sudden I'm typing in italics...don't have a clue what I did)

Each end has a rosette and a snowflake.

Thanks for spending a little time here.

Last 3 cards

Hi, all.  I don't know about you but I can't believe we have less than a week til Christmas.

I'm finished with my cards. (I hope) Now I really need to start cooking. I did get my "Texas Trash" made last Sunday. Hubby says it's the best yet. At least he's happy. And all my kids love the stuff.

I usually cook the different components of my dishes and combine them to cook together Christmas morning. I just can't handle doing everything on one day. Oh well, enough of this.

Here's my last 3 cards:

Thanks so much for stopping by. I still have lots of projects I've made. I'll post those next but this is the last of the cards.

Noel card

Good morning. TGIF!

I have a simple card for you today, but I love it. I used DCWV Glitzy glitter paper to cut Noel. I love this stuff. It sparkles like no other. Every time I see some I buy it.

Enough commercial time. Here's the card:

Told you it was simple.

Thanks for stopping by. Love reading your comments.

Cards

Good morning. It's about 4:30 am and I'm at the computer.  (waiting for my coffee to be made) I thought I would make a short post about...more cards.

I did get them all done this past weekend and yesterday I remembered to buy stamps. Now I just have to address and mail them.

I figured I would show you a couple more designs.

Another single card

Tuesday. That seems all I can say about it. My cold has really taken hold and doesn't show any signs of going away any time soon. I hope this post makes sense. (not too sure)

This is one more card that I only made 1 of. It's from the Sil store. (like most everything I do lately) It's one of their card kits.

So sorry for the quick post, here's a couple of pictures. I think I need some meds. haha

Thanks for stopping by. Stay well.

A single card

Happy, Sunday. It's cold and rainy here and I'm coming down with a cold, YUK!!!

So I guess it's a good thing I need to stay in and finish Christmas cards. lol (gotta find a bright side)

Today's card is clean and simple. (which I have trouble with) I think it came out pretty good.  It's just very different from what I usually do. Change is good, so they say.

Here it is:

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a crafty day.

Yea, it's Saturday!

Good morning, all. It's cold here and windy. I'm so glad I don't have to leave the house. Yesterday it was also raining and I had to get out, it was miserable.

Gabe has a head cold and is running a little temp so he is ready to "veg" too. Lots of hot cocoa and hot lemonade and loads of vitamin C. Hopefully I'll get some major crafting done. Still haven't finished my cards. Really procrastinating about that. I really don't want to do them. Too many other fun things I want to make. So there will be multiples this year.

Anyway, I thought I would share some of the packages I've already wrapped. I seem to have a theme this year, Santa. I can't get enough of the guy. I'm sticking him on each gift. The paper is plain so he pops. I ran out of the paper I had leftover last year so off to Walmart I went. They had some pretty stuff but I wanted mainly red and white. I found it in the smaller rolls. Well,...I didn't know you could make wrapping paper so thin. I mean it's like tissue.  So I have a new "note to self" Never buy the cheap stuff again.

So here's the photos:

Don't you just love Santa? I have some different ones done but I haven't photographed them yet.

Thanks for stopping by. I love reading what you think.  I hope all of you are nice and toasty warm. Be careful if you are having all the ice.

Hugs and God bless. Stephanie

3d Advent project

Happy Thursday, everyone. How has your week going? Mine has not been very creative, I'm afraid. I've been doing shopping in the morning and after school there is homework, dinner and then Gabe wants to play dominoes. And lots of talking.

We are very close and I would not miss this time with him.

This is the last Advent calendar I made. It is also why the other one was not made again so it would have 24 days to countdown. (if I get caught up I still might make one)

I don't have a Cameo so mine was cut on my Portrait. I tell you this because with the "P" it does take a little more paper. I used 30 sheets of paper and it took a whole Saturday to make.

So if you are planning to make one like this count your paper before you start. I ended up using 3 different greens because I had no idea how much it would take.

Happy Tuesday

Only 22 days to go. I still have a lot to do, shopping, make a banner, birthday cards, Christmas cards.

I just can't seem to get my act together. I just want to cut for fun. Last night I cut another Christmas tree and made a candy cane holder. Just for fun. (they were both in the Sil store)

What I'm going to show you today I made 2 weeks ago. It's a 12 day countdown calendar. The drawers are really roomy. Of course, Gabriel loves all these things.

Take a look:

I added the glitter bow. Both are Sil files.

This was fun to make.

What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Only 25 more days (sigh)

Good morning and happy December. Is everyone shopped out? I did not do Black Friday.

I had a very bad experience a couple of years ago and decided I didn't need to buy anything that bad.
But if you went out I hope you got what you wanted.

Today is Dec. 1 so I thought I would post the first Advent calendar I made.

Of course it's from the Sil online store. (love my Portrait) I actually have a lot of guilt over this. I have spent soooo much money on cartridges and now I hardly ever use them.  It's so much trouble. And my cricut doesn't cut nearly as well as my "P".

Oh, well, I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. Who would have thought I would love a machine that had to use a computer?

So here's the first little countdown I made:

Isn't he cute? I love all the images of Christmas but Santa's are my favorite. I can't get enough of them. Oh that reminds me, I forgot to get my plush Santas out when we decorated this weekend. I can't believe Gabriel didn't notice they were missing.

Anyway, thanks for looking, have a wonderful day
Hugs and God bless. Stephanie
